    I wonder if the seizure marks are from another time and the engine stopped for other reasons this time.

    Just a couple of thoughts, I would never consider top end repair or replacement without resealing the bottom end. The top end is what fails if there is a fault in the bottom end. I also don't see any chamfer on the ports, something that must be done after the cylinders are bored. I have seen many failures because of improper port chamfering. Measure all of the clearences carefully after the machining, personally I remove the cylinders after the breakin procedure and recheck all clearences, polishing any high spots that show up on the pistons. A little extra effort will ensure a long life engine.

    Looks like an air leak, but without a little more info I'm not sure. You can have a seizure with low EGT's.

    Hi All l removed the barrels and check them when l did the carby rebuild no marks or scuffs at 21.5 hrs
    The motor had new seal with the crank replacement.
    Yes the barrels haven't been chamfered.
    l will look into doing that with the barrels l am replacing.

    Hi Guys Engine has been reborn standard barrels second hand pistons new rings even changed the crank and new seals see how she runs this time .

    Is there an easy way to do the timming on DCDI, l have set it as close as l can l want to make sure it is right there are no timming marks
