Shortening Turbo Cable

Can anyone advise me on the best way to shorten the turbo servo cable?
One end has a crimped fitting (pic 1) not sure where to get one of those.
The other end has a fitting that the cable is loose in but won't come out of (pic 3).
Also wondering what one is supposed to do with the small metal clip loose on the cable? (pic 2)
