    hi Roger,
it's ok, thanks for your suggestion, I'll check all this. I wonder why the problem started the day after the new fuel pump... this engine count 350 hours without problems, even when I ran it in tha Alps at 14800 ft, and in the hot summer of Sicily

There is a remote chance that the new pump is bad. That's why I suggested putting a mechanical gauge in line to confirm or rule out and actual mechanical pump problem.

Here are photo's of my Chinook Plus 2 with 80 912 UL with a return line & fuel pressure gauge successfully installed. I used the Rotax orifice jet which I installed into a blue Aluminum AN hose fitting by tapping the fat end of the fitting (had to use a thread pitch gauge to get correct tap) I made a 3 way set up from Blue Aluminum AN fittings for the restrictor which allows me to read the fuel pressure before the restrictor valve. Before the carbs I installed a 4-way Blue Aluminum AN set up ( with the 4 th fitting being the return line)...there is no room on the top of the Chinook engine to install the factory Banjo fittings/hoses that come with the engine now ( those fittings and hoses did not come with my engine when I bought it) My fuel now returns all the way to either strut mounted football tank (depending which way the selector valve is) It works great and the pressures are within spec.

The pic with the jet threaded into the blue AN hose fitting I ended up threading the jet in further to the the end of the threads. The pic with the fuel pump with the fuel line on the vent hose I came up with to see if and when the fuel pump leaks, i made the air holes to allow for the pulsation of air movement of the pump diaphragms, I figure the 3 vent holes equal the diameter of the vent on the pump.

These 2 pics show the jet threaded in all the way until it bottomed out on the threads I tapped. I tried to shine a flashlight in the hole for the pic.
