Molykote A2 is a strong friction reducer and I´m planning to use it as an additive in my Rotax 912ULS.

Today I use Aeroshell sport plus 4 oil, and I understood they are compatible.

Please, did anyone use Molykote A2 in a Rotax? Did it wok good?

Thanks,

    Hi Eduardo,

Do not use a friction reducing moly based oil modifier in your engine. Moly based modifiers can cause slippage issues. Moly based modifiers can cause slippage in motorcycle clutches and the overload clutch in your engine. You don't need them. Just stick with the AeroShell Sport Plus 4. It was engineered just for the Rotax. It has all the lubrication and friction modifiers that you need.
The moly based oil modifiers can be used in auto engine oil where the oil and the transmission oil do not mix.
