Tried to measure my return line restrictor/orifice this afternoon - its smaller than a 1mm drill bit. Will take some Oxy cleaning rods, on next visit - one will fit & I can get back to you with a more accurate dimension.

Making the jet size too large could cause a bypass of too much fuel in certain circumstances. Why not leave well enough alone since it's been this way for decades and worked just fine. There needs to be safety margins in things we do and if you increase the jet size you may be on the edge of having a fuel issue when limits are reached.

    Hi Roger,

Sean is not looking to increase the jet size. He is thinking his current return line orifice may be too large, creating a pressure drop under a full throttle climb.  He is planning on reducing it to the specified #35 jet size (.35mm) if he finds that it is larger than that now.

    Ah, Okay.

The jet size should be stamped on the jet.

The 912 ULS installation Manual mentions the "Integrated Orifice (Pilot Jet 35)" in Chapter 73-00-00, Page 11, Figure 7.6
Page 12 describes the Orifice as 0.5mm (0.0197")
