While flying near my home the 912 80 horse gave a little "kick". I scanned the instruments and nothing seemed out of the ordinary but this engine never runs rough. A moment later it did it again and I could feel it through the airframe as if I had hit a small bird. I landed at my home port (right below me) and pulled the cowling. The grounding strap on the CDI was broken at the base. I was very lucky.

I replaced the mount and added a ground strap from the CDI to the engine block. What do you do?
