I tried to install the ft-60 on the input side of the fuel pump. The readout was incorrect and erratic. I could not adjust it with the K-factor. I talked to a very helpful engineer at EI who told me to put in the line between the fuel pump and carburetors. The readout is steady and correct. The only problem was replacing the 5/16" npt fittings for the input side of the fuel pump and replacing them with 1/4" to fit in the output line.
