Engine overhauled

Dear All
I've bought overhauled rotax 912S recently. Im little concerned if they engine shop done overhauled at all because I can't see any new seal on engine. how can I make sure if they done overhauled? in documents they conform overhauled but it might be fake!!

They have had to have used a fairly large list of parts. Ask them for that list. Then they had to have taken a lot of measurements, ask them to see the pages of written measurements. Ask where they got their overhaul kit and then call and see if that was true. Rotax Service centers are usually the only ones capable of doing full engine overhauls. Look at the logbook label. It should be specific as to what they did. If it is just a 3 line label, no parts list and no measurements then I'd be doubtful to. Find out the person's name that supposedly did the overhaul and have a Rotax Service center person call him and ask him questions. I have done this for a few companies where an A&P was supposed to have done things like an annual and then found out they did a garbage job and failed to do 2/3 the work and said it was an annual to just get the money. These people all got their money back and some sales were lost. There are experts out there you can use.
This is also why good documentation is important to both parties.

Crankshaft, connecting Rods replacements are necessary on first overhaul or It is also depend on measurment.?

Thanks for your information and quick reply, attached you can see some picture of engine, Please let me know what do you think about it
Also because I have Rotax S series, there is spot on the body of engine with oil leaking. Do yo have any idea how we can fix it ?
