    Hi Roger,

Thanks for the info. I could not find the paper back stuff, but hopefully this works, and I hope the adhesive does not end up nasty.

My local engineer here that services my plane advised to only put a strip on the oil cooler and see how it goes first. I couldn't believe that in 20c temps, the oil would still not get above 75!

Anyways... I will report back once the weather allows for another fly. :)

Thanks for all of your help, it's much appreciated.

    Cheers
    John

    Hi John,

You don't even care if there is any sticking on the front fins. Just on the ends you wrap slightly around. You just need that air dam up front.

Hmm.. Ok... Well mine is stuck all the way along - LOL! Not to worry. I will see how she goes.

    Thanks

John, How did the tape fix work? I have the same problem in winter time North Carolina.
Roger, are there any Rotax friendly suction side oil thermostats which are calibrated around 200* F? By the way, thanks on your advice regarding the propeller pitch last year.

The tape did it's job. I could not test much as we have been in our warmer months, but as it's cooling down over here now, I will get more chances to test this.

I can install the oil thermostat, but that's just another possible point of failure, so will see how the tape fairs when it cools down a bit.
