I'd replace both sets of floats. 1/10th of a gram is too close and the scale could be off that much. I think if it's not the floats then maybe the brass float armature height is off.  Easy to check and fix if it were the problem.

My theory is to never leave a stone un-turned because sure enough that will be the issue. If someone at your field has some floats you may be able to borrow them for a quick test.

I have just read a thread on MS floats, in this Forum, where the commentary on this product was not good.

New floats ordered (no finical assistance from Rotax).

I record the new floats weights, for comparison with in use weighing.

My new "R" floats from October 21 started out heavier than the ancient wrinkled ones they replaced. As of this year, they sum to 6.42 gm. And yes, as soon as they were "upgraded" there were issues with fuel venting. With the airbox, this is mostly hidden as the overflow gets fed right back into the engine. A clue is that it won't start well with choke "on", being already too rich from gas droolings.

The new floats do weigh about 6.3 - 6.4 grams.
