    Mike,

One other item you might find interesting.

Go to the california power systems 1 800 airwolf website. At the top of the page, look under the tech support tab and click on tech articles. You will find a gold mine of articles there to help you with maintenance.

Just a thought Mike....as you where saying that the summer OAT temps are getting hotter and hotter over there in Aus....maybe you rads could only just cope with the lower summer temps and where only just upto the job....and now the hotter summer temps are just to much for them...have you not just had the hottest temps in history over there????

I run an old Landrover....for very hot export markets they supply them with a 4 row rad....here in the UK we only need a 3 row rad...the rows being the vane that carry the coolant from the top to the bottom of the rad...that the air flows around to cool the coolant,

The crippling summer heat will also kill some of the engines power....I wonder if that could explane the loss of RPM.

    Nick.

Nick, tried her in all sorts of temps and getting generally the same result...only on hotter days, she hits redline sooner is all. In the pics below you will see that the carb cylinder at throttle position 80% and 100%,,, so I can definitely rule out the cable. The other is one the fuel filters that has an air bubble in it. I watched over a couple hours duration, and noticed more air getting in the bubble making it bigger. I wonder how that could happen? Would have the air cleaner off have anything to do with that?

Hi Michael - Just looking at the photos you posted. The fuel filter appears to be of the sintered Bronze variety. My experiance with this type of filter is that it will not flow enough fuel to satisfy your needs. In my testing of fuel flow I found the sintered bronze style of filter would flow less than 50% of the mesh screen style
I do not use a Rotax filter but a clear body, Stainless steel mesh, 8mm outlet filter approved for todays fuels.

I will second what Dennis says about your filter....the manufacturer of my a/c use to fit them....they req at a latter date that all owners remove them for the reason stated by Dennis.
