Dennis... yesterday I ordered two from amazon, but being in Oz...will take typically 3-4 weeks to get here. You can see them here....

Please indicate if these are the type you speak of.

    Thanks... Mike

Michael, I use the 7351 filter from CPS here http://www.cps-parts.com/scripts/prodList.asp?idCategory=52
Never had any problems with fuel flow.

Hi Michael - The link does not direct me to the part number, I would require your password to access your orders so I am not able to determine what you have ordered. Avoid using filters with a paper filtering media or filters with sintered bronse elements. The stainless steel screen type are pretty much foolproof although I have encountered one style that reacted to mogas with 10% ethonal. Sourcing a filter through California Power or similar suppliers should get you what you need. I buy mine over the counter from local motorcycle/snowmobile retailers.

Hi Michael - Once you have completed your fuel system repairs you should conduct a fuel flow test, with the plane at the highest angle you would achieve during flight or climb out. The 582 specifies a max burn of 26.5 L/H so you should ensure you have 53 L/H available.
